Regional Digital Marketing Strategist


Develop and execute digital marketing plans across 26 markets within the Central Group focused on lead generation, increased brand awareness and online visibility. Provide guidance for other marketing groups within Gannett USCP to ensure optimal campaign results are achieved.

Digital Strategist

Identify business goals and provide consultation on achieving those goals through digital/ online marketing solutions (SEM, social, display, email, web design and development), by working directly with local businesses and providing direction to 6 multi-media executives.

Created PPC strategy for local junkyard which resulted in 220 leads within 20 days. Made budget increase and campaign adjustments to continue to increase monthly leads resulting in 3,731 leads in first 6 months with a 8.42% CTR, 40% conversion rate and a $3.21 CPL.

Created custom landing page solution to highlight at-risk vehicle inventory for a large trucking company. Increased monthly leads from 26 to 93 and conversion rate from 5.3% to 9.4% within 3 months. Provided design strategy, CMS recommendation, information architecture and conversion optimization strategy for their custom website redesign.

Created strategy for a PPC campaign in multiple states for a national moving company. Increased conversion rate from 10.7% to 17.6% and 30% over first 3 months of campaign. Improved conversion rates along with lead quality implementing negative keywords and identifying new opportunities. Generated 596 leads from November '13 through January '14 while keeping conversion rates steady at 29%.

Lead team to goal achievement on consistent basis, taking under-performing team (averaging 60% to goal) to over 100% in two months.

Led department- wide initiative to increase company’s digital, social and online exposure to drive brand awareness and increase leads by partnering with marketing, client solutions and advertising to create an effective content strategy.

Created plan including site restructure and content strategy based on keyword research for our main B2B website which resulted in a 270% spike in unique visitors in the first month. Continue to see month over month increases in traffic and rankings for targeted keywords. Created B2B SEM campaign resulting in over 300% ROI in first two months.
